We survived Monday and one day closer to the weekend! I had the best weekend this past weekend. Between a date day with Cam and a simple, gorgeous day with my parents- it was perfect! On Sunday, my parents and I went on a fun little outing to the South Shore of Boston. I work in Braintree, so I'm very familiar with the area. Cameron and I had been there the day before and I wanted to show my parents the stunning ocean views. I was raised a block away from the water in coastal NC, so I often miss seeing the water daily, even though the Charles River does a pretty good job at satisfying this craving…. We headed towards North Weymouth/Hingham and grabbed coffee and doughnuts from the original Dunkin Donuts in Quincy. We took our afternoon snack to the seawall and explored. The breeze was cold, but the hots drinks warmed us right up. It was one of those perfect moments with two of my favorite people. As I recently mentioned, all I want to do is spend time with my family. Family is everything. Oh and doughnuts are great too!
