I'm a pretty low maintenance gal when it comes to my beauty routine. I hardly ever wear eyeshadow or eyeliner and occasionally I'll wear lipstick. Monday through Friday, I'm your standard mascara and chapstick girl- like Andy Sachs in Devil Wears Prada before Miranda Priestly gets ahold of her... Anyways, I thought I would share my beauty essentials with you on this fine Saturday. Of course, I found some of them discounted...would you expect anything less? 1. Pssst Dry Oil Spray - I have thick, frizzy hair. Over the years I have learned that most days hairspray is not the way to go... depending on the style you're aiming for, hairspray can make your hair look crunchy or even greasy. Instead I use this Dry Oil Spray. Just a tad keeps my hair shiny, healthy, and frizz free. You can get it Ulta for $6.99 or occasionally Nordstrom Rack for $6.97, if you want to save a whole 2 cents.
2. Stila Skincare - I've been using Clinique and Estee Lauder products forever and recently decided to find a new skincare routine. I've been trying out the sample sizes from different companies. My favorite has been from Stila. I'm a huge fan of their makeup and now have even more of their products in my beauty cabinet. The skincare creams, gels, and washes smell amazing - very minty! I've also noticed that my skin is much softer. I found this "3 piece Try- Me Set" at Nordstrom Rack for $3.00, but you can now buy the 5 Piece Skincare Try-Me Set for $12.00 on their website.
3. Stila Major Last Mascara - I'm very picky when it comes to mascara. I hate the kind the clumps or makes me look like I have spidery lashes. This has been my favorite lately. It creates a soft, full, and natural look - perfect for my easy, breezy routine. I found this one for $5.97 at Nordstrom Rack, but you can purchase the same size for $8.50 right off their website.
Lastly, for those days that I do use eyeliner, I've been using the BellaBeauty 3-in-1 Sharpener (not pictured). Unlike most beauty sharpeners, this one has a case that collects all the shavings. It's my new favorite. I found it at TJ Maxx for $3.99.
I hope you enjoyed this little look into my beauty routine. What is yours? Are you simple like me or a smokey eye babe?
