 HAPPY NEW YEAR! It was a windy NYE and I struggled with what to wear. I really wanted to wear this gold sequin moto jacket… I've had it in my closet for years and never really knew how to style it. I recently found some inspiration on Pinterest, of course. I love how the gold pops on my all black ensemble. I wanted to document the fact that I was finally wearing this fun shimmery piece, but I ended up learning two lessons. Lesson One: sequins are hard to photograph. Lesson 2: Boston weather does not allow for fun NYE outfits. The wind was blowing, the temperature was dropping, and I was freezing. Back inside I ran and quickly changed into something much more casual and much more warm - pictures to come! In the end, it doesn't matter whether you're in a little NYE dress or pajamas - what matters is who you spend the night with, and I loved spending a seventh NYE with Cameron.
