In lieu of a Weekend Report, I'm sharing quite a few photos from my life lately. Between preparing for guests and enjoying their company, we've been pretty busy and having a blast!
Enjoy!
I may have bought this patio set just for the chairs... All of the pieces are collapsible - perfect for storing and being used as extra seating until we have an outdoor space. They already came in handy Sunday evening!
A separated this one from the pack and placed it in a bud vase next to my bed.
Late night reading... Anthro's summer collection is perfection!
It's the little things in life: the flowers started blooming at my office.
More office flowers... Have you had enough flower pictures yet?!
On Thursday, I left work a tad early to pick Cameron's grandparents up from Logan. It was a gorgeous drive as I avoided expressway traffic on Quincy Shore Drive.
I also snapped a quick picture of this house for inspiration. A simple home, but I love the glass panes in the front, the porch on the side and the white picket fence.
After picking Nana and Grandaddy up at the airport, we proceeded to Sweet Carolines for dinner and a walk around Fenway Park.
While I worked from home on Friday, Cam and his grandparents took a tour of Fenway Park and went to Boston Burger for lunch. They sent me this gorgeous photo.
Followed by a Red Sox game that night. The Sox swept Oakland this past weekend!
On Saturday, we took a trolley tour of Boston. I loved that Old Town Trolley Tours allowed us to hop on and off!
On Sunday morning I woke up early and had breakfast on the beach. :)
Cinnamon Scones are one of my go-to breakfast treats.
These fellows greeted me when I returned home. How cute are the baby geese?!
We explored Marblehead that afternoon. I love showing our family members other beautiful areas in Massachusetts. We're taking Cam's family to Hingham this coming weekend.
I adore the color of these roses...
On Monday I had to go back to the office, but Cam and his family explored Back Bay and Trinity Church.
On Monday Evening, I attended Karma Crew Yacht Charters Event, Bloggers on Board. Stay tuned for this full post, tons of pictures, and all the details tomorrow!
On Tuesday morning it was time for Nana and Grandaddy to head back to Alabama. We brought them to the airport for their early flight and ended up having a breakfast date at Mike's City Diner. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (of course!) and Cam had a side of pancakes and a side of bacon. Yum!
The rest of Cameron's family arrives on Thursday. I'm so excited to relive this weekend, as well as go to Wahlburgers, the Aquarium, the Museum of Science, and the Boston Duck Tours. It's so fun being a tourist in my own city.
What are your weekend plans?
