As you may have seen in yesterday's "Weekend Report", Cam and I hit up the Phantom Gourmet Hot Dog Safari this past weekend. Primarily we did it out of convenience, the event took place right on Lansdowne Street and we live across the street from Fenway Park. My primary goal has always been comfort on the weekends - comfortable shoes, comfortable clothes, comfort food. The only time you'll find me in heels is Sunday morning...maybe. Anyways, given the fact that the event was called "Hot Dog Safari"- I knew I would be eating and wanted to cover my impending food baby. I chose this Isle of Mine frock and jazzed it up with a stacked wrist, straw clutch, and my Free People hat from the Mass Musings Free People event. Smart move on my part because after hot dogs and ice cream I looked like I was in my first trimester. However, I still felt cute and loved that I could curl up that evening in a dress that felt like a nightgown (we also watched way too much Orange is the New Black). This foodie event was bittersweet as I recently started a month long diet/fitness regime (#4poundsdown) and will be saying goodbye to most carbs and sweets. Still, even with loads of strawberries and chicken a food baby can pop up, so I know this look will be making a comeback.

How do you dress for such occasions? What is your go to weekend style?

xoxo!
