Postcards from NYC

This past weekend, Cameron and I ventured to The Empire State. It was his first time and we each had our own "to do" list. Cam wanted to go to the Arrogant Swine (a Brooklyn restaurant specializing in Eastern NC BBQ), the 9/11 Memorial, and Times Square. I wanted to go to the three restaurants that Helena featured on Brooklyn Blonde last week, check out Nolita, and stop in Topshop and Joe Fresh. We ended up checking off everything and walked 26,000 steps (10 miles) on Saturday, so I didn't feel quite as bad indulging. The view from our room at The New Yorker Hotel was amazing (see above). On our way back to Boston we stopped at Valencia Luncheria in Norwalk, CT - a perfect lunch or dinner spot if you're in the area. We're already planning our trip back this fall!
