Paintings in the Snow

The snow has arrived! With help from my father, these pictures quite accurately show our current situation in Boston: Snow on cars, dogs trying to find grass, children sledding, and myself just trying to make it safely from my car (I hate street parking) to our apartment - new painting in hand. Actually, the snow could not have arrived at a better time...since I've done nothing lately besides dream (I mean pin) about the decor for our new apartment. I found the painting above at Homegoods and adore the colors. I wanted something abstract to go with the Hollywood Regency theme in our living room/dining room space. We've also purchased two white leather dining chairs and a mahogany entertainment center with a brass base (which is currently being stored in my Hyundai Tucson)... move-in day can't come soon enough!
