I posted the first picture on Instagram forever ago, but never really discussed my obsession with these braids. I hate to admit it, but I become super lazy about my hair in the winter and summer. I usually just throw a hat on during the winter or up in a messy bun during the summer. One of my fun New Year's resolutions has been to learn new hairstyles. These photographs capture my first attempt at milkmaid braids, as seen on many celebrities and bloggers. One of my favorites being Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam. I personally like this style a little messier. How do you think I did for my first attempt at this fun hairstyle? Have you personally tried this beauty trend?
